Cairo Mosque EG072611jhp Egypt Cairo mosque minaret Sayyidna al-Husayn square trees plants Maydan near the busy and often important site of Kan al-khalili a popular stop-off for tourists to Egypt and offered as part of City Tour where many bargains can be picked up as part of that exotic shopping experience in an Arabic Bazaar. Bargaining is also part of the fun and is expected throughout so a new and often daunting experience for the traditional conservative British visitor. Better value can probably be obtained in Aswan or Luxor and certainly for those doing a Nile Cruise large, weighty or fragile items are best left to the last minute.
