Caption: | Karnak Temple Pylon Interior Mudbrick Ramps ancient Egyptian Construction Methodsis located near Luxor City centre on the East Bank of the River Nile and it the largest religious complex on the Nile. In this photo are the remains of construction mudbrick ramps in the first court behind the first pylon, which appear to have been left behind. The temple complex started from the centre and this area of construction, partly unfinished, was a much later phase possibly during the reign of Nectanebo 1 around 370BC. |
