PMR282-12 Turkey, Pergamon: foundations of the Great Altar, dedicated to Zeus and Athena, built by Eumenes II to commemorate his victory over the Gauls (190 BC). The altar (35 x 33 metres) was excavated between 1878 and 1886 and now forms the centrepiece of the Pergamon Museum on the Museum Island in Berlin.
