PMR-D7999 Sweden, Bohuslän: Bohus Fortress, dating back to 1308, lies on the old Norwegian-Swedish border and was at that time in Norway. Built of granite. it was besieged 14 times but never taken. In 1789 it was partly demolished, leaving it in its present ruined state. Mounted enthusiasts in period cavalry uniforms re-enact with infantry past military actions for onlookers.
