DSC 0767 The Town Beadle of Stratford -upon-Avon Town council, leads the way at the head of the long procession followed by two macebearers and the town's mayor in the procession to mark the annual Shakespeare birthday celebrations at Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire, Britain The long procession winds its way around the town centre to the Holy Trinity Church where the great playwright is buried. The laying of floral tributes are placed on the bard's grave. The celebrations remain one of the few engagements for the Diplomatic corps outside London.
