Detail of Vreta Klosters Kyrka (Vreta Convent Church), Vreta, Östergotland, Sweden.
Founded about 1120 and later taken over by the Cistercians. Although of great significance in the Middle Ages its influence deminished when Vadstena flourished. It was rebuilt in 1289 after a fire and has subsequently been restored to resemble its appearance at that time.
