 Two long rows of Georgian cottages in the High Street separated by an 80 foot wide green at Buckler's Hard on the Beaulieu estate and the Beaulieu river, New Forest National Park, Britain.
During the reign of King George 111, Buckler's Hard was one of the navy's ship building yards. 26 ships for the navy were built here including three, that took part in the Battle of Trafalgar, Swiftsure, Euryalus and Agamemnon. 
Lord Nelson served for a while on Agamemnon and lost his right eye during the siege of Calvi. Another ship, Scorpion took part in the famous expedition carrying troops to Quebec in Canada under General James Wolfe.
