 Female visitors wearing shorts or short skirts are given a long sari to cover their legs by a member of staff before entering to see the reclining Buddha inside the Wat Pho Temple in Bangkok.The Wat Pho Temple is also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha but its official title is Wat Phra Chettuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Ratchaworamahawihan is adjacent to the Grand Palace.

The Wat Pho Temple has been included in the UNESCO memory of the World (MOW) programme in 2008.
