 Abydos Egypt Temple Ramses Interior Corridor Photo Kings List wall relief in the largest royal monument built in white limestone, situated at the most important and one of the oldest necropolis of ancient Egypt is the home of Osiris and the Temple of Seti/Sety 1 with additions by Ramses 11. The photograph illustrates the king-lists in the Hall of Ancestors in which Sety and his eldest son, the later Ramses 11 offer a list of their predecessors to the Gods although not completely accurate. Also known as the Corridor of Bulls this passage leads to the outside of the temple to the Osirieon, a cenotaph to Sety, completed by Merenptah.
