 Philae Temple Egypt Pylons Mudbrick Ruins Beato Photograph Albumen Print on its original island in the River Nile, dedicated to the Goddess Isis and here photographed by Antonio Beato, a Victorian photographer around 1890 and this copy is taken from his album called The Nile 1872. None of the mudbrick archaeology exists on the relocated site located on Agilqiyyah Island after the construction of the two dams.
